All of the pupils in the school received their own battery recycling box this week. All old and used household batteries can be placed in this box. When full, the box can be returned to the school and it will be sent to WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Ireland for recycling. WEEE Ireland will make a donation to the Laura Lynn Ireland's Children Hospice for each box recycled so the more batteries collected then the more money that will be donated to Laura Lynn.
