The closing date for applications is Friday, 30 April 2021. It was most certainly a case of "Forty Shades of Green" today in the school. Despite the lack of a parade and other activities this year, the pupils celebrated "Lá Glas" in style and did St. Patrick proud! Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona daoibh go léir. We were delighted to welcome our 3rd - 6th Class pupils back to school today. It’s great to have full and vibrant classrooms as well as a happy schoolyard once again! We were delighted to take part in the Vex Robotics and the Munster Technological University/Cork Institute of Technology supported online workshop called "Program A Virtual Robot" to celebrate Engineers Week 2021. The pupils were given a short introduction to robot programming and tried some simple block coding activities online using Vex VR robots.  Great progress has been made with the construction work on our school extension. We are looking forward to moving in to our new classrooms within the next few months.  We were delighted to welcome our younger pupils back to school yesterday. Lots of smiling faces in the sunshine!  |
