Wishing everybody in our school community a Happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. We hope all our pupils have a wonderful Christmas and we look forward to seeing everyone once again on January 5th! Both Le Chéile classes visited Marlhill Open Farm earlier this week. The pupils got the chance to meet Santa, go on a barrel ride and see some of the animals at the farm - a great day out was had by everybody!
There was lots of festive cheer to be seen around the school today as we held a Christmas Jumper Day. Huge thanks to everyone who supported the day. The money raised will be donated to the Community Food Bank based in Tipperary Town and which serves the needs of many in the locality.
Some images from Santa's surprise visit which was facilitated by An Garda Síochána Tipperary and the Tipp Vintage Rally on Wednesday!
The 5th & 6th Class pupils took part in a virtual Science workshop through Zoom to celebrate Science Week 2022. The workshop was called “Marine Biodiversity” and it was provided by Sea Synergy Marine Awareness. The pupils completed their own posters on marine invertebrates and marine vertebrates and presented them at the second Zoom session. Huge thanks to Conor Hinchcliffe from Sea Synergy Marine Awareness who presented both modules to the pupils.
