We wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween break. The school will reopen again on Monday 2nd November.
Freddy Krueger took over the office on a temporary basis today. It's safe to say though that Freddy isn't a patch on our highly efficient secretary, Joan!
Fifth & Sixth Class provided us with many interesting and colourful characters today. We had spooky clowns, soldiers, basketball players, devils, werewolves, skeletons and, of course, the Junior B's were well represented - we even had one pupil abducted by an alien! Happy Halloween everyone!
We almost didn't recognise Third & Fourth Class when they arrived in to school today! Zombies, scary clowns, Harry Potter and hardworking farmers were some of the many characters who appeared this morning. Fa-boo-lous work everyone!
First & Second Class certainly made a fang-tastic effort with their costumes this year. We had lots of enchanting and magical characters in our midst today. Super work everyone!
The Junior & Senior Infants were certainly wearing some spooktacular costumes today! We had fairies, skeletons, witches, ninjas, a werewolf, the Hulk, Batman and lots of other fantastic characters. Well done everyone!
Thank you to The Apple Farm in Cahir who once again provided us with boxes of their lovely apples to celebrate Halloween. Also, many thanks to Anthony from Spar in Golden who provided us with lots of tasty treats to enjoy today as well.
Huge thanks to James and Gavin from Kilfeacle & District RFC for another great rugby coaching session. The focus this week was on passing from both sides as well as learning how to punt kick and grubber kick.
The foundations of our new classrooms were laid last week. Great progress was made within a few days.
The Junior & Senior Infants demonstrated great team work and balance when taking part in their jumping exercises using hoops this week in PE. Great fun!
