Congratulations to our pupils who received the sacrament of Confirmation on Friday. Thank you to Archbishop Kieran O'Reilly, Fr. Coffey, Fr. O'Gorman and Fr. Downes who lead the ceremony. Also, thank you to the school choir for their wonderful singing on the day and special mention to Alex Meagher for the beautiful pieces she played on the accordion during the ceremony. Finally, many thanks to all those who attended the ceremony on Friday, including sponsors and family members, and helped to make the occasion so special for our wonderful Confirmation candidates.

Huge congratulations to Alex Meagher in 5th Class who had a very busy and successful weekend at the recent Fleadh Cheoil Thiobraid Árann. Alex was awarded 3rd place in the Under 12 duet and has qualified for the upcoming Muster Fleadh while she received 1st place in both the Under 12 ceilí band and the Under 12 solo button accordion. The success continued for the Meagher household as Alex's sister and past pupil of Thomastown NS, Catherine, placed 3rd with her Under 18 trio playing the concertina and placed 2nd in the Under 18 ceilí band. Well done to Alex and Catherine, two very talented musicians!
Congratulations to past pupil Ian Ryan who was awarded the CTRYO Member of the Year 2022/2023 at their recent Awards Night. Ian plays the Violin in The County Tipperary Ryan Youth Orchestra. Well done Ian!

Well done to our Under 13 Hurling, Under 11 Hurling and Under 11 Camogie teams who have been busy taking part in the Cumann na mBunscol competitions in Tipperary Town, Moyle Rovers and Clonoulty since they returned to school after the Easter holidays.
Congratulations to Tommy Sutton in 6th Class who captained Arravale Rovers GAA Club to the West Tipperary Under 13 Football title on Thursday night. Maith thú Tommy!
