Following on from their success on the football pitch the previous day, the Thomastown National School relay team represented by Kate Flannery, Ellie Crowe, Lucy Fogarty and Sarah O Donnell competed in the 100M freestyle Munster Schools competition in UL on Saturday 21st November.
Kate Flannery also competed in the individual section of the gala where she came first and won the gold medal in the 50M Backstroke in the Under 12 category. Kate will now represent the school in the National Finals to be held in the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin in the coming weeks. Well done to all the girls and best wishes to Kate in the National Finals.
