Congratulations to Louise who was a member of the Tipperary Minor Ladies Football team that won the Munster and All Ireland Ladies Football titles for the second year in a row over the summer. Also, best wishes to Colin who is currently out in Melbourne, Australia. He was selected to take part in the Australian Rules Draft Combine trials. If successful when the trials are completed then he will go on to become a professional Australian Rules football player.
In June, Colin O'Riordan (2015 Tipperary Under 21 Football captain, Tipperary Under 21 Hurler and Tipperary Senior Footballer) and Louise Cadell (Tipperary Minor Ladies Football player) paid a visit to the school. They were invited to present the Under 13 Ladies Football and Under 13 Camogie teams with their County medals while they also made a presentation to the successful Football Skills team (Eoin Marnane, Callum McCarthy and Eimear Heffernan) who won the County Final and finished third overall in the Munster Final. Both Colin and Louise also signed autographs and gave some words of advice and encouragement to all the pupils.
