We were delighted to once again have the opportunity to have Grandparents Day in the school prior to the summer holidays. It was the first time since June 2018 that we were able to celebrate the occasion and this year it coincided with Graduation Day for our 6th Class pupils. A huge thank you to everyone who helped to organise the day including Garda Eddie Nugent who looked after traffic management, Nicholas & Kevin O'Toole who ensured that we had ample seating for everyone, Golden Kilfeacle GAA Club for the use of their chairs and cups, Fr Coffey who celebrated Mass for the 6th Class Graduation Ceremony, Michael Fitzgerald who, as chairperson, represented the school's Board of Management, everyone who sent in cakes, buns and all manner of tasty treats and the parents and staff members who looked after the refreshments on the day. And we owe a big debt of gratitude to whoever helped to make sure it didn't rain that day as well!
Thank you to all the parents of the 6th Class pupils and of course the many, many grandparents and family members who visited the school and helped to make the day so special and memorable. We look forward to doing it all again in the not too distant future!
