On Tuesday 22nd October, our 3rd & 4th class pupils took part in the FAI Primary Schools Futsal Blitz. This blitz was played in Canon Hayes Sports Complex in Tipperary Town.
Futsal is similar to 5 a side soccer. It is played with a smaller ball and some of the rules are slightly different. This was a non-competitive blitz and we got to play against lots of other schools from the area. Our pupils were presented with participation certificates at the end of the day. We all thoroughly enjoyed this event.
