Double congratulations go to Emer McCarthy this week. She spent the June Bank Holiday weekend in the University of Limerick with the South Tipperary School Girls Soccer squad as they took part in the Gaynor Cup. In UL, South Tipperary played divisional squads from all over the country and they reached the Plate Final of the competition where they played Inishowen/Donegal and narrowly lost this game 3-2 on penalties. This Sunday, June 12th, Emer will play for the Tipperary Primary Games Ladies Football team who will play at half time during the Tipperary v Cork Munster Senior Football Championship game. Well done to Emer on her success so far this week and good luck on Sunday in Semple Stadium!
