Last April, our current 6th Class pupil Lewis Dawson "chopped his bun" and shaved his head in school in aid of BUMBLEance, The Children's National Ambulance Service. Lewis raised €1880 for this amazing charity as a result of his brave deed.
Earlier this week, Jim from BUMBLEance arrived at the school with one of the BUMBLEance ambulance fleet. Jim showed the pupils around the BUMBLEance, explained about all the equipment that is used in the BUMBLEance and provided a great insight into the amazing work that the service does.
Many thanks to Jim for making the trip to the school and showing everyone how important our donations are to this vital service.
