Animal Magic Wildlife Rescue paid a visit to all the classes recently. The pupils got to experience the beauty of nature and wildlife in the surroundings of their own classrooms. Bearded dragon lizards, a thorny owl, a barn owl, vampire rabbits and even a boa constrictor snake were on display. Pupils got a chance to touch and hold all of the animals, they learned all about their habitats, feeding patterns and how certain species are now in danger of extinction. Thank you to the Thomastown NS Parents' Council who helped to organise the visit. More information on the work of Animal Magic Wildlife Rescue can be found on www.animalmagic.ie Comments are closed.
