The Senior Infants were busy in Maths this week using play dough to create number shapes to help build their number recognition skills. Congratulations to our pupils Laura Kennedy, Grace Tuohy, Leah McGrath and Lily Flannery who won the County Under 11 Ladies Football title with Galtee Rovers this weekend. Well done girls!
Our new Junior Infants have had a busy and exciting first week in school. They have already been improving their fine motor skills and strengthening their fingers to help with their pencil grip and control.
We are collecting the Aldi Play Rugby stickers once again this year. Each poster requires 300 stickers. If anyone has stickers at home then we'd greatly appreciate if you could send them into the school before the closing date of November 8th.
Well done to our current pupils Iobhar Ryan, Grace Tuohy, Nicholas O'Toole, Cathal Noonan and past pupil Max Crowe who were members of victorious Golden Kilfeacle Under 12 hurling team that won the West Final v Sean Treacys on a scoreline of 2-02 to 1-04.
Welcome back to all our pupils following the summer holidays. In particular, we would like to extend a special welcome to our new Junior Infants.
Congratulations to Emily Marnane who won the Reserve Show Hunter Pony Championship at the Dublin Horse Show over the summer holidays. This was Emily's first time participating in the Dublin Horse Show and no doubt it will be the first of many successes for her at this event. Well done Emily!
Congratulations to current pupils Laura Kennedy, Grace Hayes, Grace Tuohy, Leah McGrath and past pupil Ella O'Donnell who recently won the County Under 12 Camogie title with Rockwell Rovers camogie club. In the final the girls defeated Boherlahan 2-04 to 0-04. Well done to all involved!
