#ThrowbackTuesday

14/4/2020

Today's #ThrowbackTuesday goes back to September 2012 when our current 6th Class arrived for their very first day in the school as they started Junior Infants!

Congratulations Eimear!

14/4/2020

Even though the playing fields are quiet at the moment, one of our past pupils achieved provincial success recently prior to the lockdown of all activities. Eimear Heffernan won the Munster Senior Post Primary A Camogie title with Ursuline Thurles. Eimear is also a member of the Tipperary Minor Camogie panel this year. Hopefully we'll see Eimear wearing the Blue and Gold shortly again. Congratulations Eimear!

#ThrowbackThursdays

9/4/2020

Every Tuesday and Thursday for the next few weeks, we're going to be looking back at different events and activities that have taken place over the years involving pupils from the school. Today, we have the 2012 Cumann na mBunscol County Hurling winning team as well as our past pupil and 2019 All Ireland and Munster Under 20 Hurling champion Niall Heffernan making his Tipperary debut with the Primary Game team in the old Páirc Uí Chaoimh in 2012 #ThrowbackThursdays

Time Capsule Project

3/4/2020

Below is a time capsule project aimed at capturing history and feelings amid this strange time. It is a way to express thoughts and memories as we navigate through these current events. The time capsule has pages like All About Me, How I'm Feeling, My Community, What I Am Doing At Home and Letter To Myself. Pupils can read back over the project in years to come when words like "social distancing" and "cocooning" will be just a distant memory.

Keeping Busy!

2/4/2020

We have been delighted to hear about all the fantastic work that our pupils have been doing over the past few weeks. Cathal and Robyn have sent us in some photos to show some of the wonderful things they have done. Cathal has been busy reading to his younger brothers, baking delicious gingerbread men and creating amazing Three Little Pigs art. Robyn has also been busy in the kitchen baking delicious treats, doing some interesting science experiments, writing great stories and creating artwork. She has even managed to open her own garden centre (with the correct social distancing measures in place of course). Keep up the brilliant work Cathal and Robyn!
