Day One Challenges

As regards the work for this week and next week, we'll try and do things a little bit differently. You are going to be asked to do a series of challenges. The challenges will be a mixture of sports related activities, quizzes, projects, art and a few other different things. You won't be doing these challenges on your own, you will be part of a team. You will be awarded points for each challenge you participate in so the more you participate the more points your team will earn. 

Please see attached list of challenges for Monday (June 8th) below. You have 48 hours to complete the challenges. Photos and/or videos need to be sent in by 9 a.m. on Wednesday (June 10th) at the latest. A text will be sent to parents with the details on where to send the photos and/or videos. 

The teams are also attached below (3rd - 6th Class are all included). 

Day Two Challenges will be posted here on Wednesday morning (June 10th) as well.

See how many times you can pirouette bounce & hand pass the ball off the wall in 30/60 secs.
Important to always start back off middle cone
Plant R foot at L cone & spin bounce R hand pass R
Plant L foot at R cone spin bounce left hand pass left

Coaching points
Feint to go one direction plant foot then spin other direction & get extra separation with bounce so important to solo before spin/pirouette

Week 7 Day 1
How many times can you high catch on the run bounce the ball on the run & punt kick the ball off the wall & catch on the full off both sides in 30/60 seconds
Make sure executing at pace & on the run throughout the challenge

Coaching points
Simulating high catch in game burst forward & punt ball into forwards
Don’t break stride
Throw ball ahead of you catch at highest point knee up & 2 feet off ground
