Well done to both the current and past pupils from the school who were presented with their medals following their successes with both the Golden/Kilfeacle and Galtee Rovers GAA Juvenile clubs this year. Tipperary Senior hurler Michael Cahill, Tipperary Senior footballer Conor Sweeney and Tipperary Minor hurling captain Brian McGrath were the special guests on the night along with the Liam McCarthy and Irish Press Cups. The 6th Class pupils created a birthday party with Mrs. Carr in school recently. Among the many creations were roly poly sandwiches, chest of chess sandwiches, marshmallow cups of tea, Christmas eggs, Christmas Rock-A-Tots, Valrhona chocolate, brownies and Irish soda bread. All creations were later served to the other classes in the school once 6th Class had of course had the chance to sample the finished products first.

Well done to Aidan Tuohy, Colin Tuohy, James McLaughlin and Robbie McGrath who represented the school in the County Tipperary Primary Schools GAA Quiz in the Sarsfields Centre, Thurles last Sunday. The boys finished 6th overall with a score of 57 out of 64. The standard of answering on the night was very impressive with the winning team scoring 62 out of 64. The boys gave a fantastic performance and they're already looking forward to next year!
Since our last update, the senior pupils have started the Food Dudes programme. All the pupils in the school are given a varied selection of fruit and vegetables to try each day. The daily offerings include sliced apples, grapes, oranges, bananas, sliced carrots, cucumbers, red and yellow peppers and mangetout.
