Congratulations to our Under 11 Ladies Football team who participated in today's Tipperary Cumann na mBunscol Blitz held in Golden. The team won their two group games against Ayle and Donaskeigh and they then defeated Monard in a Blitz Final. As a result of this, the girls have now qualified for a County Semi Final to be played in the coming weeks.
Thank you to everyone who has been bringing the Aldi Play Rugby stickers in to the school. We now have two posters fully completed and we have started collecting for our third poster. We will keep collecting until the closing date of November 8th.
Well done to our Under 13 Football team who participated in today's Tipperary Cumann na mBunscol Blitz. The team won their two games against Ayle and Cappawhite and they have now qualified for the next stage of the competition.
The Junior and Senior Infants started the Aistear (learning and developing through play) programme today. Aistear helps the pupils learn new skills and ideas, and build new information about how the world works. Our first Aistear theme was "The Farm".
Following their PE class today, the Infants then went on a lovely nature walk to find all the signs of autumn outside.
The Junior and Senior Infants spent some time outside today enjoying the fine weather as they practised their balancing in gymnastics during PE class.
Junior and Senior Infants have been learning about autumn this week and created some beautiful autumnal paintings!
