Junior & Senior Infants were working on their fundamental movement skills again, 1st and 2nd Class concentrated on their footwork and ball control skills while 3rd - 6th Class focused on timed shuttle runs and kicking. Once again, thank you to Mr. Ryan for setting the challenges for all the pupils.
Well done to all the pupils from Junior Infants up to 6th Class who completed Week Two of our Sports Skills Challenges last Friday. Everyone made an incredible effort to learn their particular skill over the course of the week and it was fantastic to see everyone in action on Friday! Congratulations to everyone in Golden Kilfeacle GAA club and Kilfeacle & District RFC following the conclusion earlier this morning of the hugely successful Keep It Moving Challenge. Everyone in Thomastown National School is very grateful to both clubs for including the school in the fundraiser and for the support that they have given to the school.
Thank you to everyone who donated, walked, ran and cycled over the past few days. In particular, thank you to our current pupils, former pupils, parents, school staff and members of the Board of Management for your support for the Keep It Moving Challenge. While the Keep It Moving Challenge may have concluded, the GoFundMe page still remains open. So if you haven’t already donated then you may do so by clicking on the following link: gf.me/u/zqrw39 Finally, we wish continued success to both Golden Kilfeacle GAA club and Kilfeacle & District RFC and we look forward to supporting your teams once again when they return to the playing fields.
