6th Class School Tour

For their last ever primary school tour, 6th Class travelled to Killary in scenic Connemara, Co. Galway. Firstly, they visited the Aerial Park and climbed into the tree canopy for some zip lining across four different courses, along with navigating their way around the 32 different elements throughout the courses. Next up, they returned to solid ground and tested their aim and accuracy with some Archery. As the group was in Connemara, they even managed to fit in a Ceilí into their schedule. Last but not least, they took on the Turf Challenge and they tried to beat the bog! The Turf Challenge was made famous on 'Ireland's Fittest Family'. Huge thanks to all the staff in Killary Adventure Centre who were so helpful throughout our time there.

​The 6th Class returned home tired, a bit muddy but with some wonderful memories from their last trip with the school!
